AIAA SciTech 2017—and the 11 conferences  that comprise the forum—is THE convener of the most original perspectives, curator of the most essential research information, and catalyst for the most stimulating idea exchange in the aerospace field, delivering ingenuity and innovation in aerospace sciences for more than 50 years.

Setting an all-time AIAA forum participation record, more than 4,000 participants representing 44 countries, including all 50 U.S. states plus Washington, D.C., the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico, convened at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, in San Diego, CA, 4–8 January, for an enormously successful AIAA Science and Technology Forum and Exposition (AIAA SciTech 2016). Among the participants were more than 1,000 students, also setting an all-time AIAA forum student participation record.

More than 2,500 technical presentations from nearly 800 institutions in 39 countries offered the latest research results on 44 high-impact topics and scores of opportunities for networking.
